The Metallic Gimbal Expansion Joint consists of a single bellows element attached to a gimbal ring assembly with dual hinge sets. This construction allows angular rotation in multiple planes simultaneously, making it well-suited for piping systems with complex directional changes. Gimbal joints are designed to resist pressure thrust loads, while also supporting dead weight and torsional stability. They are supplied with weld ends, fixed or loose flanges, with or without internal sleeves.
