Universal/Universal Tied
A dual-bellows expansion joint designed to absorb movements in all directions. The universal configuration makes it highly effective for lateral deflections and ideal for systems with complex piping layouts.
Enquire NowThe Metallic Universal Expansion Joint consists of two bellows separated by a central pipe section (spool). This design allows it to accommodate large lateral deflections, as well as axial and angular movements. The movement capability can be adjusted by modifying the spool length. Available with weld ends, fixed or loose flanges, with or without internal sleeves, this joint offers flexibility for varied piping requirements.

Typical use case: Extensively used in irregular or complex pipe systems where significant lateral movement needs to be absorbed.
provides protection to the bellows
Flow Liner / Inner sleeveshields bellows from turbulent or abrasive media
Tie Rodretain pressure thrust where applicable
Limit Rodprevent over-compression or over-extension
Control Roddistribute movement evenly between the two bellows
Adjustment rodassist in setting length prior to installation
End Connectionweld ends, fixed flanges, loose flanges
Middle spoolconnects both bellows and determines lateral deflection capacity
